Each "bead" or totem represents a completed task or challenge. There is one task or challenge for every zodiac sign. They can be completed in any order, and hold no "rank" significance. The only Trial that must be completed in a certain order is the Aquarius Trial. To complete this challenge a changeling must have completed the previous 11 trials. Then someone completes all 12 Trials a large celebration is held, though where is a hard held secret within the Changeling Culture.
